Wertz Rites Wednesday
Services for Mrs. Frank Wertz [Amber Lucille Knode Wertz], 65, of Armstrong, will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m.at the First Methodist church in Armstrong with burial in Armstrong Grove cemetery. Mrs. Wertz died Sunday [March 11, 1951] morning at 7:45 in Holy Family hospital following a paralytic stroke suffered about 15 days ago. She has been hospitalized for about two weeks. Survivors include her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Zufall of Armstrong. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 12, 1951)
