Eight-Year-Old Boy Dies After Short Illness
Willis Goerndt, 8, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis M. Goerndt of Estherville, died early this morning at a local hospital after a short illness with pneumonia.

Willis Goerndt Funeral Will Be Tomorrow
Willis Goerndt, eight-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis M. Goerndt of Estherville, will be buried tomorrow in the Armstrong cemetery following funeral services at 1 p.m. in the Sternborg funeral chapel. The Rev. Otis Lang will have charge of the services.

Eight Year Old Boy is Dead of Pneumonia
Willis Martin Goerndt, eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Goerndt, died early yesterday morning at a local hospital from pneumonia. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Mahlum and Anderson funeral chapel. The Rev. Otis Lang, pastor of the German Lutheran church officiated. Burial was made in Armstrong.

Willis attended school in the Jackson building. He is survived by his parents and three brothers and sisters. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, march 5, 1935)
