Mrs. Harper Gage died at her home in Swan Lake township last night [June 14, 1900] from pneumonia, after a week’s sickness. She leaves a husband and two children to mourn her untimely death. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock at the house, and the remains laid to rest in the Armstrong cemetery. – Armstrong Journal (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, June 20, 1900)
