Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon for William Lewis Floyd, age 77, who died at his home near town with cancer. Rev. R.R. Irwin had charge of the service and burial was in Armstrong Grove cemetery. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Inez Stewart, Catherine, Margaret and son Aubry by a former marriage. Pall bearers George Beck, Geo. Vandenburgh, Walter Richmond, Fred Robinson, Alf Hackerson and P.A. Gaarde. Those from out of town at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. George Floyd of Center Point and Mrs. Bertha Barnes, a sister, of Marion, Iowa, also Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Richmond of Algona, Iowa.
