J.A. England Dies Thursday
Funeral Services at Ringsted Church
Jack Creek, March 19, - J.A. England died at his home in Jack Creek township Thursday. He had been in poor health for some time.

At the time of his death he held the office of trustee and will be greatly missed by his co-workers and all his friends.

He leaves to mourn his death a wife and family. Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church in Ringsted and he was laid to rest in the Armstrong cemetery Saturday.

The family have the deepest sympathy of their friends during this time. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, March 20, 1934)

Jack Creek
John A. [Albert] England passed away at his farm home here Wednesday night, March 14, 1934. He has been in failing health for the past year. Mr. England was a highly respected citizen and took great interest in public affairs. He has served as director of the Halfa Consolidated school and at the time of his death held two offices, director of the Farmers elevator at Ringsted and trustee of Jack Creek township. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife and nine children. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at one o’clock at the home and two o’clock at the Presbyterian church in Ringsted. Interment was made in the Armstrong cemetery. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, March 21, 1934)

Ringsted
The funeral of John A. England, Sr., was held Saturday with services at the home and at the Presbyterian church at one-thirty. Burial was made in the cemetery at Armstrong. Mr. England passed way at his home Thursday from heart failure. He has been suffering over a year. Mr. England has lived in this vicinity for many years and owned a fine farm west of town. He was a member of the board of directors of the Farmers Elevator and the following members of the board acted as pallbearers: C.E. Wolsbrod, Wm. Lemaster, J.G. Schultz, Temp Wiley and Verner Andreasen. Mr. England leaves to mourn his wife and children and a large number of friends in this vicinity.
