Armstrong – Services for George Glenn Dale, 67, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Wagner officiating. Interment will be in the Armstrong Grove Cemetery with military rites by the Armstrong Veterans of Foreign Wars. He died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1987 at Marian Health Center in Sioux City.Friends may call at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Armstrong after 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
He was born March 24, 1919 a Fairmont, Minn., son of Roy and Nettie (Waltman) Felkey. He attended Fairmont and Armstrong schools. He lived in Spencer many years before returning to Armstrong three years ago. He was Commander of D.A.V. Chapter 33, Storm Lake. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Eagle Lodge, Armstrong Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and life member of D.A.V.
He is survived by his fiancée; ten children; eight grandchildren; one great grandchildren; one step-siser Mrs. Geraldine Marshall, Osage City, Kans.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 29, 1987)
