Word comes from Armstrong that the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Carroll died Sunday [February 14, 1897] and was buried Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Dundas of this place attended the funeral. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, February 17, 1897)
