Ringsted Man’s Services Friday at Armstrong Church
Ringsted – Fred George Bussa, 70, of Ringsted died at 2:05 a.m. Aug. 14 at the Valley Vue Nursing Home at Armstrong.

He was born Feb. 20, 1904 at Manson. His parents were Herman and Lena Carsten [Bussa]. He received his education at Manson.

He married Grace L. Dalton Sept. 3, 1925 at Estherville. They moved to the Armstrong area where he farmed until his retirement in 1970, when they moved to Ringsted. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Armstrong.

Survivors include his wife, Grace; one daughter, Mrs. Merlyn (Betty) Elman, Buffalo Center; one son, Alvin Bussa, Windom, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. George Johnson, Ringsted; five grandchildren and one great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Presbyterian Church in Armstrong with burial in Armstrong Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Leslie Lewis will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Dale Hansen, Ray McKean, Elmer Herbrandson, Robert Nielsen, Calvin Jensen and Charles Colegrove. Honorary pallbearers are Frank Colgrove, John Higgins, Johns Geerdes and Toy Haworth.
