Funeral Set For Mrs. George Beck
Mrs. George (Lila) Beck, 81, Armstrong, died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday [January 28, 1971] at the Valley Vue Nursing Home in Armstrong.

Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Armstrong. Burial will be in the Armstrong Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Reese-Henry Funeral Armstrong Chapel after 7 p.m. Saturday until noon on Monday.

Services Held for Mrs. Lila Beck
Lila Viola Beck, 81, Armstrong, died Thursday at Valley Vue Nursing Home in Armstrong from complications of age.

She was born Sept. 7, 1889, on a farm near Armstrong to Andrew and Jenny Mitchell.

She was married Sept. 18, 1912, to George Beck at Armstrong. She has lived all of her life in the Armstrong area. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church.

Survivors are her husband, George; one son, James Beck; two daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Helen) Henricksen, Armstrong, and Mrs. Roy (Phyllis) Lyle, Estherville; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Andrew Rath, Cape Coral, Fla.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church of Armstrong with the Rev. H. Alan Wirtz officiating. Burial was at Armstrong Grove Cemetery at Armstrong.

Pallbearers were Robert Nielsen, Kenneth Beck, Laverne Ries, Dale Hansen, Vernon Pehrson and Bernie Hardecoff.,
