Mrs. Ayers of Maple Hill Dies
Funeral Services Are Tomorrow
Funeral services for Mrs. E.K. Ayers, 51, of Maple Hill, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Maple Hill church. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Arthur G. Bailey assisted by the Rev. Arthur T. Bailey. Burial will be in the Armstrong cemetery.

Mrs. Ayers, who is a sister of Richard King of Estherville, died yesterday afternoon after a long illness. Her husband and six children survive her. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 10, 1934)

Funeral Rites Held at Maple Hill
Mrs. E.K. Ayers, 51, was buried in the Armstrong cemetery this afternoon following funeral services in the Maple Hill Presbyterian church. The Rev. Arthur G. Bailey was in charge of the services assisted by the Rev. Arthur T. Bailey.

Mrs. Ayers, [Nellie Elizabeth King] the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. King was born at Schaller, Ia., March 4, 1883 and lived there until Feb. 12, 1907, when she was married to Mr. Ayers.

The family made it home in Sac county until 1921 when it moved to Emmet county.

Mrs. Ayers is survived by her husband, six children, Mrs. George Holl of Dolliver, and Raymond, Gladys, Otis and Clara, all living at home, one brother, T.R. King of Estherville, and one sister, Mrs. Ivy Koehne of Chandlerville, Ill.

One daughter preceded her in death. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 11, 1934)

Sister of T.R. King Dies at Maple Hill
Last rites for Mrs. E.K. Ayers, 51, of Maple Hill were held yesterday afternoon at the Presbyterian church in Maple Hill. The Rev. Arthur G. Baley, assisted by the Rev. Arthur T. Bailey, officiated at the services. Interment was in the Armstrong cemetery.

Mrs. Ayers died Sunday at her home after an illness of several months. She was born at Schaller, Sac county, on March 4, 1883, and made her home there until her marriage to E.K. Ayers on Feb. 12, 1907. In 1921 they moved to Emmet county, where she lived until her death.

She is survived by her husband and six children, Mrs. Geo. Holl and Kenneth Ayers of Dolliver, and Raymond, Gladys, Otis, and Clara at home. One daughter died in infancy. She also leaves one brother, T. R. King of Estherville, one sister, Mrs. Ivy Koehne of Chandlerville, Ill., and three grandchildren. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, December 13, 1934)

Dolliver
Sympathy of this community is extended to Mrs. George Hall [Holl] in the death of her mother, Mrs. E.K. Ayers of the Maple Hill community. Mrs. Ayers had been in failing health for some time and her death was not unexpected. Funeral services were held last Tuesday from the Maple Hill church of which she was a member.
