Dolliver – Funeral services for Nils [Marselius] Haugland, 86, a farmer near Dolliver, will be 2 pm. Friday at Fuhrman Funeral Home with Lester Osborn officiating and burial at the Palestine Lutheran Cemetery near Dolliver. He died Monday [April 14, 1975] afternoon on his farm near Dolliver.

Mr. Haugland was born March 29, 1889 in Norway and received his schooling in Norway. He came to the United States at the age of 26. He came to Emmet County, then went to college in Chicago and returned here in 1933 where he had been farming ever since. He was married to Linnie Goldman, Stillwell, Okla. December 24, 1971.

Survivors include his wife, Linnie. He was preceded in death by his parents and all his brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home anytime Thursday and until time of services Friday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 15, 1975)
