Dolliver – Clarence E. [Edward] Kinnander, 68, Dolliver, died Tuesday [November 22, 1977] afternoon at the Fairmont Community Hospital.Services for Mr. Kinnander will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Dolliver Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Bents and the Rev. Don Sarff officiating. Interment will be in the Palestine Lutheran Cemetery, Dolliver.
Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Armstrong, after 10 a.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday, when the body will be taken to the church.
Mr. Kinnander was born Feb. 17, 1909, in Emmet County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kannander. He received his education in rural schools and was married to Caroline Eike Jan. 12, 1930, at Armstrong.
The couple farmed in the Armstrong and Dolliver until ill health forced Mr. Kannander retire in 1972.
Mr. Kannander is survived by his wife, Caroline; two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Elizabeth) Lindell, Hudson, and Mrs. Kenneth (Carol) Ritz, Truman, Minn.; three grandchildren; and six sisters, Mrs. Alvin Smith, Coco Beach, Fla., Mrs. W.B. Mitchell, Armstrong, Mrs. Gladys Axel, Lowell, Ind., Mrs. Byrdie Turchi and Mrs. Addis Johnson, both of Merritt Island, Fla., and Mrs. Frank Stevens, Cedar Lake, Ind.
