Former Resident Dies in Oak Park, Ill.
Mrs. Henry (Regina Beatrice) Hudecek, 37, a native of Estherville, died suddenly Sunday [July 21, 1963] afternoon of a hemorrhage in Oak Park, Ill. The former Regina Beatrice Boe was born Jan. 4, 1926, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burge B. Boe at Estherville. Her mother died at birth. She received her education in the Estherville schools.

Following graduation from Estherville High School in 1942 at the age of 16, she moved to the Chicago area where she had lived since that time. She had been employed by Western Electric Company for a time and for the past 10 years she had worked at the Twin Oaks Dining Rooms at Oak Park, Ill. She was married to Henry Hudecek in November, 1961 in Chicago. They made their home in Elmhurst, Ill.

She was baptized at the Palestine Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her husband, father and stepmother, three brothers, Archie of Chicago, Barney of Dunnell, Edward of Sherburn; one sister, Mrs. Rudy Postel of Oak Park, Ill. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Oak Park at the Postel-Weight Funeral Home. The body will then be brought to Estherville where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Palestine Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mr. Baderschneider officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Lutheran Church Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the church from 8 a.m. Wednesday until time of service. Reese Funeral Home is in charge of services. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 22, 1963)
