Mrs. H. Weber Dies; Funeral Set Wednesday
Mrs. Hazel M. [Mathilda] Weber, 77, Dolliver, died 3:30 Sunday [November 1, 1970] afternoon at the Good Samaritan Center, where she had been a resident for the past seven years. She had been in failing health for a year.

She was born Jan. 20, 1893 at Estherville, to Mr. and Mrs. Tom Stanerson.

She attended and graduated from Estherville schools and attended a business college at Redwood Falls, Minn.

She was married Oct. 20, 1915, to John Weber at Estherville. She spent her whole life in the Estherville and Dolliver area, her married life in Dolliver. She was a member of the Dolliver Lutheran Churh. She was active in the women’s organizations in the church and served as Sunday School Superintendent and taught Sunday School for a number of years.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Agnes) Peterson, Laurel, Md., Mrs. Melvin (Geraldine) Peterson, Beltsville, Md., Mrs. Alberta Hoffman, Gruver; three sons, Galen, Lloyd and George Weber, all of Dolliver; 25 grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and one daughter.

Services will be Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Dolliver Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Sanford Sill officiating. Burial will be at the Dolliver Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Friends may call Reese-Henry Funeral Home in Estherville after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, until 9:00 a.m. when the casket will be taken to the church. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 2, 1970)
