Grinnell – Services for Eugene L. Rosburg, 40, formerly of Estherville, will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the Dolliver United Methodist Church with Dr. Merrill Summerbell officiating. Interment will be in the Lincoln Township Cemetery. He died Thursday, April 18, 1985 at the M.D. Anderson Medical Center [Houston, TX] where he was undergoing treatment for cancer. Friends may call at the church from noon till time of services. The Smith Funeral Home of Grinnell is in charge of arrangement.

Rosburg was born Sept. 13, 1944 at Estherville, the son of Harley and Norma (Herum) Rosburg. He was a graduate of Estherville High School and Estherville Junior College. On July 3, 1965 he was united in marriage with Alene Sherling at Dolliver. He was employed by Golden Sun Feeds for 20 years and was office manager in Grinnell.

Survivors include his wife Alene, Grinnell; two sons Rodney and Robert at home; his parents Harley and Norma Rosburg, Estherville; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Percy Herum, Dolliver; three brothers: Richard and Steven, Estherville and David, Pittsburg, Pa.; three sisters: Linda Neppl, Peterson; Marilyn Rienhardt, Estherville and Diane Korte, Fairmon; many nieces and nephews.
