Lee Miller, 74, Dolliver, Dies of Heart Attack
Lee Miller, 74, rural Dolliver, died at his home at 8:30 a.m. yesterday as a result of a heart attack.

He was born Jan. 7, 1895, at Reinbeck in Tama County, to Mr. and Mrs. James Miller. He was raised and educated at Reinbeck.

He married Olive Evans March 22, 1921, at Estherville. He came to Emmet County in 1920 and had farmed since that time.

He was a veteran of World War I, and was a member of the American Legion Post at Dolliver. He was also a longtime member of the United Methodist Church at Dolliver.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Bill (Beverly) Butler, Sioux Falls, S.D.; two sons, Ralph, Jackson; Bill, Dolliver; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one sister and three brothers.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Dolliver, with Rev. Travis Cannaday officiating.

Burial will be at the Dolliver Cemetery. Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville from 7 p.m. Saturday until 10 a.m. Monday, when the body will be taken to the Dolliver Church.

Pallbearers are Ralph McKean, Clair Moore, Robert Moore, Ronald Olson, Arnold Saha, and Wilburn Swanson. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 11, 1969)
