Last Rites Friday for Mrs. Miller
Last Rites for Mrs. Lee Miller, 69, lifetime resident of the Dolliver area, will be Friday at the Dolliver Community United Methodist Church. Mrs. Miller died Tuesday [July 23, 1968] at 12:30 p.m. in Holy Family Hospital. She had been ill for four months.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in the Dolliver church, Rev. Travis G. Cannady officiating. A family service will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Lincoln Township Cemetery near Dolliver.
Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home anytime from Thursday until 11 a.m. Friday when the body will be taken to the church.
Pallbearers are to be Arnold Saha, Ronald Olson, Ralph McKean, Clair Moore, Robert Moor and Wilburn Swanson.
The former Olive [Mathilda] Evans was born Nov. 12, 1898, [1897] at Dolliver, the daughter of Emma and Elman Evans. She attended the rural schools there.
On March 22, 1921, she was married to Lee Miller at Estherville. Since their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Miller had lived on a farm near Dolliver.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the United Methodist Church, the WSCS, and the Dolliver American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Bill (Beverly) Butler of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two sons, Ralph of Jackson, Minn., and William of Dolliver; seven grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Bessie Miller of Ringsted.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Floyd, Edward and Raymond. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 24, 1968)

DOLLIVER—Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Dolliver United Methodist Church for Mrs. Lee Miller, 69, of Dolliver.
Mrs. Miller died of cancer about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Holy Family Hospital at Estherville.
Friends may call starting Thursday and until 10 a.m. Friday at Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville. Burial will be in Dolliver cemetery.
Mrs. Miller was born Nov. 12, 1898, in Dolliver. She was married to Lee Miller March 22, 1921 in Estherville.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ralph of Jackson, Minn., and Bill of Dolliver; a daughter, Mrs. Bill Butler of Sioux Falls, S.D., seven grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Miller of Ringsted.
