Mrs. Albert Iverson Dies at 60
Funeral services for Mrs. Albert Iverson, 60, lifelong resident of the Dolliver area, are to be Thursday at 2 p.m. (Daylight Savings Tim) at the Dolliver Methodist Church.

A family service will be at 11 a.m. at the church, the Rev. Donald Haarup of Glenwood and the Rev. Roger Tappmeyer officiating at the services. Burial will be in the Dolliver cemetery.

Pallbearers are to be George Handeland, Lester Handeland, Gaylord Knutson, Jack Benjamin, Robert Mitchell and Robert Evans.

Friends may call at Fuhrman Funeral Home from 7 p.m. today until 10 a.m. Thursday at which time the body will be taken to the church where friends may call until time of the afternoon service. The casket will not be open after the service.

Mrs. Iverson died Monday [April 27, 1964] at 7:25 a.m. at Hofstader Nursing home where she had been a resident for about a year. She had been in failing health for the past few years.

Edmunde (Edna) Hageback [Hageboeck] was born Aug. 28, 1903, at Ceylon, Minn., the daughter of Charles and Minnie Hageback. She moved to near Dolliver with her parents when just a baby and received her education in the Dolliver schools.

She was married Dec. 7, 1921, to Albert Iverson at Dolliver. Mr. and Mrs. Iverson continued to make their home near Dolliver until Mr. Iverson’s death in 1949.

Surviving her death are three sons, Marvin of Des Moines, Gerald and Lyle, both of Dolliver; two daughters, Mrs. Lee (Evelyn) Holl of Dolliver and Mrs. Joyce Montgomery of Swea City; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A brother, Arthur Hageback of Hope, N.D., and four sisters, Mrs. Rose Griese and Mrs. Ed Griese, both of Dolliver; Mrs. John Griese and Mrs. Olga Johnson, both of Fairmont, also survive.

Mrs. Iverson was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 28, 1964)
