1904-1978
Dolliver – Mrs. Viola Colberg, 74, Dolliver, died Wednesday [November 22, 1978] at Holy Family Hospital, Estherville.

Services for Mrs. Colberg will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, at the Wilson Funeral Chapel, Algona. The Rev. George Snyder, First United Methodist Church, Algona, will officiate. Interment will be in the Lincoln Township Cemetery.

She was born March 17, 1904, in Story County to Henry and Stena (Rasmussen) Kline, and attended school at Iowa Falls.

Working for a time after attending the school, she married Ray Colberg at Iowa Falls Feb. 9, 1992. The couple lived in Iowa Falls until 1936 when they moved to Algona. In May of 1978 they moved to Dolliver.

Her survivors include her husband, Ray, Dolliver; her mother, Stena Kline, Alden; one son, Glen, Muskegon, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Neva Norem, Radcliffe, and Mrs. Marvin (Doris) Leininger, Dolliver; a niece raised in the family home, Mrs. Raydean Robinson, Anchorage, Alaska; 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; three brothers, Williard Kline, Iowa Falls, Ray Kline, Alden, and Harry Kline, Newton, Wisc.; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Davidson, Alden, and Mrs. Opal Norris, Iowa Falls.

Preceding her in death were her father, three brothers, two sisters, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visitation will be until the time of services at the funeral chapel. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 24, 1978)
