Jerome Handeland Infant Passes Away
Jerome Eugene Handeland died Thursday [March 11, 1943] night from respiratory difficulties. He was born Saturday [March 6, 1943] and weighed five pounds.

He is the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Handeland.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 4:30 at the home of the child’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.R. Espeset. The Rev. J.A. Mathre conducted the services and burial was in the Norwegian cemetery. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, March 18, 1943)
