Knuet Espeset Dead
The death of Knuet Espeset occurred in Duluth, Friday, December 18th, the news of which caused profound sorrow in this city and county where deceased lived many years. At the time of his death he was fifty-eight years of age. His remains arrived here for interment Monday night and were laid to rest in the Norwegian cemetery north of town Tuesday. Mr. Espeset became a resident of this county early in the county’s history and was one of its most prominent figures up to the time of his removal to Duluth about six years ago, and held the offices of sheriff and treasurer for many years.
