Estherville – Funeral services for Norma Tredway, 74, of Estherville will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at Estherville Lutheran Church, Estherville with the Pastor Ray Miller officiating. Interment will be at Estherville Lutheran Cemetery, Estherville. She passed away Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

Norma Tredway was born the daughter of Oscar B. and Agnes (Kittelson) Myhre on March 1, 1929 in Estherville.

She received her education in Estherville schools, graduating from Estherville High School, attending College in Estherville, too.

On Dec. 14, 1947, she was united in marriage to Rodney Tredway in Estherville. Norma worked at Robinson’s Jewelry for a while; then she was employed by the City of Estherville. She also helped Rodney operate the Standard Oil Bulk Service. In 1972, the couple moved to Cherokee, Iowa and owned the Coast to Coast Hardware Store. In 1979, they moved back to Estherville and she worked at Emmet County State Bank until her retirement.

She was a member of Estherville Lutheran Church and for hobbies she enjoyed sewing, baking, and crafting. She was a beloved grandmother, much loved mother, wife and sister.

Norma is survived by her husband, Rodney of Estherville; her children, Kathy Culp and her husband, Tim of Lakeville, Minnesota; Steve Tredway and his wife, Shelly of Estherville; Linda Eisenmenger and her husband, Mike of Windom, Minnesota; grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew, Nicholas and Adam Eisenmenger; Crysta and Alex Culp; Clay and Samantha Tredway; brother, Marvin Myhre of Estherville.

She has been preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Oscar Jr., and Stanley. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 10, 2003)
