Estherville – Funeral services for Lillian B. Sunde, 90, of Estherville will be held Tuesday, March 4 at the Good Samaritan Center Chapel in Estherville at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dwight Raddatz officiating. Interment will be at Estherville Lutheran Cemetery in Estherville. Lillian died Friday, February 28, 2003, at the Estherville Good Samaritan Center.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. today at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel in Estherville and one hour prior to the service at the Good Samaritan Center.

Lillian B. Sunde, the daughter of Nels and Ingeborg (Tindall) Sunde, was born January 14, 1913, in rural Estherville.

She received her education in the country schools in Emmet County and she also attended Estherville High School.

Lillian was employed at Pantry Café in Estherville in the 1940’s. After that she worked at Rexall Drug in Estherville for thirty years. She enjoyed baking for a hobby and most especially she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was a member of Estherville Lutheran Church.

Lillian is survived by her sisters and brothers, Alice Mitchell of Estherville; Ray Sunde and his wife, Waneta of Estherville; Nina Sill of Fairmont, Minnesota; Merle Sunde of San Jose, California; sister-in-law, Edna Sunde of Fenton, Iowa; twenty-one nieces and nephews; and many great and great-grand nieces and nephews.

She has been preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Lloyd. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 3, 2003)
