Estherville – Services for Mrs. Ewald (Antonia) Rosenau, 67, will be held [too dark to read]. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville, will be in charge of arrangements. She died Friday, Feb. 25, 1983, at Holy Family Hospital.

Antonia Bittner Rosenau was born Mar. 8, 1915 at Josephestadt, in the Ukraine, Russia, the daughter of Emil and Maria (Guhl) Bittner. She married Ewald Rosenau in Ukraine, Russia and they lived there and in Austria before immigrating to the United States in 1952. She had worked at Wadco Foods and was a long time employee of Holy Family Hospital. She was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ewald, Estherville; four daughters: Mrs. Lester (Adeline) Mortimore, Estherville, Mrs. Lee (Maria) Nauss, Rochester, Minn., Mrs. William (Margaret) Duncan, Alexandria, Minn., Mrs. Jim (Irma) Fraser, Olathe, Kans.; two sons: Emil Rosenau, Estherville and Bill Rosenau, Loveland, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; two brothers: Adolf and Reihold Bittner, Russia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; five brothers and three infant children. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 28, 1983)
