Estherville – Services for Brian M. [Martel] Hecht, 28, of Estherville will be held Friday, June 9 at 1:30 p.m. at Estherville Lutheran Church with Pastor Kermit Rye officiating. Interment will be held at Estherville Lutheran Cemetery. He died Tuesday, June 6 at his home in Estherville.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today, Thursday, June 8 at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

He was born November 24, 1966 at Estherville, the son of Russell and Mary Jane (Linn) Hecht. He attended school in Estherville and graduated from Estherville High School in 1985. He attended Jackson VoTec College specializing in carpentry. He was united in marriage to Deborah Adams on February 5, 1988 in Estherville. He worked at K&S Lumber in Estherville for several years. For the past three years he has worked at Golden Sun Feeds in Estherville.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Noelle and one son, Nathan, both of Estherville; his parents; his grandparents, Wilhelm and Ruth Linn of Estherville; three sisters, Mrs. Eric (Kathryn) Zinn of Lake Park; Mrs. Bill (Rebecca) Hanson of Riverside; Mrs. Kevin (Shelly) Miller of Spirit Lake; two brothers, Jeffrey of Estherville and Gregory of Estherville.
