Forest City – Services for Vivian (Espeset) Handeland, 77, of Forest City will be held Monday at Pilot Knob Lutheran Church in Forest City at 10 a.m. and at 3:00 p.m. Monday at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville with interment in Estherville Lutheran Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 7, 1919 at Estherville, the daughter of Irene and Arnt Espeset. She married Loyd Handeland June 18, 1938 in Estherville. The family moved to Gruver in the spring of 1950 and in July 1963 to Forest City.

Survivors include her husband Loyd of Forest City; children Karen Yoshihara of Lafayette, Colo.; and Larry of Herndon, Va.; brother Arnt Espeset, Estherville; sister, Audrey Loveland in Marshalltown; one grandson and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
