Estherville Funeral services for Reinholt M. [Marcelius] Handeland, 76, Estherville, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Estherville Lutheran Church with the Rev. Stan Eyberg officiating and burial in the church cemetery. He died at his home March 21.

Mr. Handeland was born Jan. 27, 1899 in Norway to Lars and Josefine Endresen Handeland and received his education in the Estherville public schools. He lived in the Estherville area most of his life where he was employed as a carpenter until his retirement in 1970. He was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church and never married.

Survivors include four brothers, Andrew and Birger, Estherville; Alfred, Mankato, Minn.; and Loyd, Forest City; four sisters, Manghild Handeland, Mrs. Cliff (Jennie) Hedrick; Mrs. Arnt (Josephine) Espeset, Estherville; and Mrs. T.E. (Clara) Beian, Burlington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.

ESTHERVILLE--Service for R. M. Handeland, 76, of Estherville will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Estherville Lutheran Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Reinholt M. Handeland was born Jan. 27, 1899 in Norway. He grew up in Estherville and has been employed as a carpenter all his life, retiring in 1970.

Survivors include seven brothers and sisters, Andrew, Birger, Mrs. Cliff Hedric, Mrs. Arnt Espeset, all of Estherville, Alfred of Mankato, Loyd of Forest City, and Mrs. T.E. Belan of Burlington.
