Juliet Berniece (Herbranson) Fransdal, the daughter of Henry and Birdie (Synstelien) Herbranson was born June 1, 1916, near Petersburg, Minnesota. Juliet departed this life on Friday, September 9, 2011, at the Spencer Hospital in Spencer, Iowa, at the age of 95 years and 100 days.

She received her education in the Petersburg Schools. Later Juliet enjoyed several continuing education classes.

On November 12, 1941, she was united in marriage to Norman M. Fransdal in Petersburg, Minnesota. After their marriage, the couple made their home in Estherville. Norman departed this life on August 8, 1999.

Juliet was a longtime member of Estherville Lutheran Church in Estherville where she was involved in activities including ELCW President. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary for over 65 years. Faith, family and friends were her life.

Left to cherish Juliet's memory are her children, Laura Kultala and her husband, Steve of Broomfield, Colorado; Mary Enderson and her husband, Gary of Estherville; Lee Fransdal and his wife, Jolene of Lakeville, Minnesota; James Fransdal of Estherville; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, Kari Thurman and her husband, Brad and their children, Kyle, Kory, Blake, Beau and Brooke of Broomfield, Kristen Gerstner and her husband, Chad and their son, Evan of Castlerock, Colorado, David Kultala of San Diego, California, Tony Enderson of Gruver, Iowa, Elizabeth Fick and her husband, Dan and their children, Austin, Brandon and Cameron of Estherville, Tom Enderson and Jeff Enderson both of Estherville; sisters, Helen Martinson of Ashby, Minnesota; Loraine Vorland of Cedar Falls, Iowa; one brother, Elmer Herbranson and his wife, Barbara of Seminole, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She has been preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Barbara Fransdal; sister, Elvina Luscombe and brother, Harold Herbranson.
