Jess A. Arledge, 80 Years Old, Dead
Jess A. Arledge, 80, died at 9:15 p.m. yesterday at his home on South 11th street. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Sternborg funral home with the Rev. J.A. Riggs officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 27, 1936)

Jess A. Alredge, 80, passed away Sunday night at his home at 803 South Eleventh street, after an illness of six months. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Sternborg funeral chapel with the Rev. J.A. Riggs of the Baptist church officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.
