Beulah Ellingson
Estherville – Services for Beaulah [Beulah] Henrietta Ellingson, 91, will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Estherville Lutheran Church with pastors Kermit Rye and Mike Kroona officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. She died Friday, Oct. 19, 1990 at her son’s home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday.

She was born Sept. 23, 1899 at Graettinger, the daughter of Hans and H. Martilda (Enes) Sandvik and attended Graettinger schools. On Dec. 17, 1919 she married Edward Ellingson at Graettinger. She lived most of her life in the Estherville, Graettinger and Wallingford area. She was employed as a housekeeper for Good Samaritan and Holy Family Hospital. She had also worked at the Estherville Public Library. She was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church; Sons of Norway and WWI Auxiliary.

Survivors include one son Edward of Salt Lake City; two daughters: Vivian Clausen and Darlene Babinchak both of Long Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Veneta Golla, Estherville and Hannah Knutsen, Graettinger.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son Gordon; parents and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 20, 1990)
