Estherville – Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Marie Carlson, 74, Estherville, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Estherville Lutheran Church with the Rev. Stan Eyberg officiating and burial at the church cemetery. She died Saturday [January 24, 1976] morning at Medicenter in Des Moines.

Mrs. Carlson was born Dec. 18, 1901 at Armstrong to Earl and Ella Dutton Wood and was educated in rural Armstrong schools. She was married to Carl J. Carlson April 22 1920 at Estherville and had lived her whole life in the Estherville and Armstrong areas. She was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Roy (Chloris) Stoll, Bondurant; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Lucille Cullen, International Falls, Minn. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1973; parents, stepfather, one brother and three sisters.
