Estherville – Services for Alma Carey, 73, Estherville, will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, with the Rev. Stanley Eyberg officiating. Interment will be at the Lutheran Cemetery in Estherville.

Mrs. Carey died Tuesday [June 16, 1981] morning at the Holy Family Hospital in Estherville.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Stueland, she was born August 22, 1907 in Estherville, and received her education in the Estherville schools, graduating from Estherville High School. She was married to Leslie Carey on June 2, 1928 at Estherville.

She lived in Estherville and was employed as a nurse and custodian at City Hall. She was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Carey is survived by her husband, Leslie; one brother, S.G. Stueland, Hoffman, Minn. and one sister, Mrs. Olivia Mickelson, Fairmont, Minn.
