Died – Gaylord Graves, Esq., father of Hon. Howard Graves of this city, died at his home in Northwood, Iowa, Aug. 29th, aged 25 years. The deceased was born at Richfield Springs, N.Y., May 22d, 1804, and spent the greater part of his life pioneering in the west. He resided for some years in Emmet county and had many friends among the older settlers here. The funeral occurred the Saturday following his death.
