Mrs. Florence Tredway, 75, Dies; Rites Tuesday
Mrs. Florence Tredway, 75, died at 1:20 Sunday morning at the Lawrence Guge residence where she had been making her home. She had been ill nearly a year prior to her death.

Florence Wiseman Tredway was born Feb. 22, 1871, in Columbus, Wis. She was married 55 years ago to Alvin Tredway in Sac county, Iowa. They moved to Emmet county in 1919 and she had made her home here since that time. She was a member of the Presbyterian church, Pythian Sisters, Past Chiefs and the Fidelas class of the Presbyterian church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. M.H. Robinson of Brookston, Minn., Mrs. Lawrence Guge, Estherville; two sons, M.W. Tredway, Olin, Ia., and Vern Tredway, Estherville; two sisters, Mrs. Addie Dean, Spirit Lake, and Mrs. Ellis Haradon, Early, Ia.; one brother, Lynn Wiseman, Early, and 13 grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death 25 year ago.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon at Sternborg’s chapel and at 2 o’clock at the First Presbyterian church with Rev. J.M. Kennedy officiating. Burial was in the Oakhill cemetery.
