Services Friday for Mrs. Weir
Mrs. Elma C. Weir, 78, Estherville, died at 6:45 a.m. today, Nov. 15, in Dickinson Memorial Hospital, Spirit Lake.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Estherville, the Rev. Harvey Throop and the Rev. Don Johnson will officiate. Interment will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery, Estherville.

She was born Dec. 16, 1895 [per cemetery records, 1894] at Estherville to Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Crumb and was educated in Emmet County rural schools. She was married April 1, 1917 to Paul B. Weir in Estherville.

They farmed throughout their married life in Emmet County and Mrs. Weir was still living on the farm at the time of her death. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church, Estherville. Mrs. Weir was a charter member of Estherville Okamanpedan Chapter of D.A.R.

Survivors include one son, Elmer A. Weir, Estherville, and four grandchildren, Gregory A., Gay Elaine, Barbara and Bradley. Mrs. Weir was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother.
