Rugtive Girl Passes Away
Burial Will Be Tomorrow
Margaret Christine Rugtive [Rugtiv], 14, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noah Rugtive, died at 5:30 a.m. today after a three week’s illness with spinal meningitis.
The girl was born at Orleans, Minn., on Aug. 21, 1919. For the past six years she has lived in Estherville and attended the schools here. She was a freshman in high school.
Funeral services and burial will be held tomorrow at the East Side cemetery.
Besides her parents, she is survived by four brothers and sisters, George, Norman, Gudrein and Dorothy. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 27, 1933)
Rugtive Rites This Afternoon

The Rev. L.A. Mathre will conduct funeral services this afternoon at the East Side cemetery for Margaret Rugtive, 14, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noah Rugtive.
The girl died yesterday at 8:30 a.m. after an attack of spinal meningitis.
For six years she has lived in Estherville and attended school here. She was a Freshman in high school.
