Heart Attack Fatal to Robert Polson
Robert Polson, 25, son of Cy Polson of Estherville, died Wednesday [December 13, 1942] in Portland, Oregon. His death was caused by a heart attack.He attended the Estherville schools and left shortly before he was to have graduated from high school to go to Oregon where he obtained employment in the shipyards. For the past four years he had worked in the ship yards and was ready to receive a third promotion, which would have made his supervisor in the head department.
He is survived by his widow, his father, one brother, Pvt. Bill Polson who is with the signal corps in Sacramento, Calif., one sister, Mrs. Guy Kubler of Terril, and a grandmother, Mrs. Sara Polson. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, December 24, 1942)
