Spirit Lake – Services for Mrs. Russell (Corinne) Peterson, 76, Spirit Lake will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Grace Episcopal Church, Estherville, with Father Robert Kiersey officiating. Interment will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Peterson died Sunday evening at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Spirit Lake.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, until time of the services.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Noel, she was born April 6, 1905 in Churden. She received her education in the Estherville schools, graduated from Estherville High School and attended Estherville Junior College.

She was married to Russell Peterson on August 31, 1925 at Worthington, Minn. The couple lived in Lakefield, Minn. for one year before moving to Estherville, where they lived until Mr. Peterson’s retirement and moved to Spirit Lake.

She was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church, Eastern Star, White Shrine and Past Matrons.

Mrs. Peterson is survived by her husband; four daughters, Jeanne Peterson, Barbara Tollefson and Nadine Johnson, all of Spirit Lake, and Nancy Houchins, Ogden; seven grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. William Hamlin, Grand Rapids, Mich.; and one brother, Robert Noel, Tucson, Ariz.
