Mrs. Bert (Fidella) Miller
Mrs. Bert (Fidella) Miller, about, former resident of Estherville died Tuesday in Long Beach, Calif. The body will be brought here for burial and will arrive on Saturday. The Millers lived here for many years. Mr. Miller was an employe [employee] of the Rock Island railroad. Mrs. Miller is survived by two sons, Myron S. and LeRoy both of Long Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Miller will accompany the body back to Estherville. Mr. Miller preceded his wife in death by several years. Announcement of services will be made later. Rites Held for Mrs. Miller
Funeral services were held yesterday for Mrs. Myron Burton (Bert) Miller, a former resident of Estherville, who died Oct. 19, at Long Beach, Calif. Born on March 16, 1867 near Eakles Mills, Md., the daughter of J.M. and Mary Snyder, she was married on June 12, 1894 to Myron Burton Miller. Mr. Miller was employed by the Rock Island railroad here for several years. He preceded her several years in death. She is survived by two sons, Myron S. Miller and LeRoy A. Miller both of Long Beach, Calif., and a granddaughter, Mrs. Robert Upshaw of Downey, Calif., two great grandchildren, one sister, two nieces and three nephews. Mrs. Miller was one of the founders of the War Mothers organization here during World War I. Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery in the family lot.
