Services for Edward J. Timmons, 62, rural Estherville, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville, with the Rev. Harvey Throop of the Estherville First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Swan Lake Cemetery.

Mr. Timmons was dead on arrival at Holy Family Hospital Thursday July 27, 1978 morning.

He was born April 7, 1916, at Estherville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Timmons. he received his education in Emmet Consolidated School and was married to Marjorie White on May 11, 1940, at Forest City. The couple farmed east of Estherville following their marriage.

Mr. Timmons is survived by his wife, Marjorie; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sheryl) Jones, Spirit Lake, and Mrs. Larry (Janet) Anderson, Estherville; four grandchildren; one brother, Ivan Timmons, Estherville; and two sisters, Mrs. Irene Iseminger, Estherville, and Mrs. Dorothy Klingbeil, Baudette, Minn.

He was preceeded in death by his parents and one brother.
