Estherville – Services for Mrs. Cynthia McDermott, 43, Estherville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, with the Rev. Clifford Haider officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. McDermott died Saturday at Holy Family Hospital, Estherville.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Silbaugh, she was born August 28, 1937 at Churdan, and received her education in the Lohrville schools. On June 3, 1956, she married James P. McDermott, and they lived in Lohrville until moving to Estherville in 1967. Her husband died in 1969.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Estherville, and the VFW Auxiliary.

Mrs. McDermott is survived by three sons, Scott James, Jay Alan and Jason Aaron, and two daughters, Kari Dawn and Heidi Gaye, all of Estherville; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Silbaugh; and two sisters, Mary Sue Zabel, Fort Dodge and Judith Rae Stuhrenburg, Clare.
