Rites Set for Mrs. Fred Robinson, 76
Mrs. Fred (Cora [Maloa]) Robinson, 76, longtime resident of Estherville, died at 7:45 last night at Holy Family Hospital after an illness of two years. She had been hospitalized for two weeks prior to her death.Born Feb. 8, 1882 at Hubbard, she came to Estherville with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Asias Bucy when just a small girl and received her education here.
She was married to Fred A. Robinson on June 3, 1903. The couple observed their 50th wedding anniversary in June of 1953. She was a member of the Methodist church. Her husband was employed at the local post office for over 30 years and was postmaster for 12 years.
Survivors are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. George (Catherine) Brunskill, Mrs. Bob (Martha) Seylar, both of Estherville, Mrs. David (Helen) Wisdom of Swarthmore, Pa.; one son, John M. of Washington, D.C.; 13 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and eight brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Sandin-Furhman Funeral Home. The Rev. William Noland of the Methodist church will officiate.
Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 11, 1958)
