Mrs. Klein Was Native of Germany
Mrs. Peter (Barbara Bielharz) Klein, 89, died Monday evening (Oct. 12) at the Good Samaritan Home. She had been seriously ill for the past week.

Mrs. Klein was born Jan. 20, 1870 in Stuttgart, Germany. She came to the United States in 1887 and came to Estherville in 1892. She received her education in Germany. She was married to Peter Klein July 12, 1889 at Iowa Falls. She was a charter member of the Christian Church.

Mrs. Klein was preceded in death by one infant son. Her husband passed away in 1915.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Laura) Cummins of Armstrong and Mrs. Albert (Ethel) Richard of Wallingford; six sons, Otto of Estherville, George of Page, N.D., Andrew of Osceola, Harry of Edward, Cal., Roy of Fenton, Henry of rural Estherville. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and over 40 great grandchildren. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 23, 1959)
