Estherville – Services for Mrs. Hogan (Ruby) Roganson, 69, Estherville, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Estherville, with the Rev. Tom Balm officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. She died Sunday, Sept. 30, 1984 at Holy Family Hospital.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville.

Hoganson was born Monday, Oct. 8, 1914 near Graettinger to Willard and Esther (Barrett) Crim. She received her education in Estherville schools and country schools. On May 23, 1934 she married Hogan Hoganson. Before her marriage she taught in a rural school southeast of Estherville for two years. After their marriage the couple farmed southeast of Estherville until Mr. Hoganson retired. They moved into Estherville five years ago. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, the altar guild, church circle, garden club and the Ryan Lake Country Club.

Survivors include her husband of Estherville; two sons, Dean, Des Moines and Harlan, Pampa, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Scott (Diane) Benjamin, Estherville; seven grandchildren; and two brothers, Wayne Crim, Naples, Fla., and Vance Crim, Estherville.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and her parents. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 1, 1984)
