Estherville – Services for Elizabeth Augusta Hageman, 98, will be held Thursday at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville with the Rev. David Wendell of the United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. She died Monday, Aug. 13, 1990 at Rosewood Manor.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

She was born Aug. 27, 1891 at Storm Lake, the daughter of Charles and Amelia (Manteufel) Hintz and attended Storm Lake area schools. On March 8, 1911 she married henry H. Hageman at her parents’ home. After marriage the couple farmed south of Storm Lake six years before moving to a farm south of Gruver in 1917. Mr. Hageman died in 1945 and she moved into Estherville in 1952. She entered Rosewood Manor in 1985.

Survivors include three sons: Charles of Ames, Arthur of Estherville and Richard of Sioux Falls; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one step-grandson; a sister Mrs. Clara Hageman, Estherville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, parents; five sisters and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 15, 1990)
