James Evans, 68, Dies Following Heart Attack
James Edward Evans, 68, died from a heart attack Sunday morning at 11:30 at his home. He had seemed to be in good health and had no knowledge of having a heart ailment, members of his family said.

Mr. Evans was born at Postville, Iowa, in 1877. In 1902 he was married to Lillie Mae Huntsinger and they have made their home in Estherville since then. Mr. Evans was employed as a cabinet maker for the Thompson cabinet works a few years ago, and had been employed by the Grand theater for some time before his death.

His widow and nine children survive him. Sons and daughters are Mrs. Della Winner, Versailles, Mo.; Mrs. Esther Duckett, Perry, Iowa; Pvt. Richard Evans, Washington state; Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Oconoto, Neb.; Sgt. Morton Evans, Texas; and Marian Evans, who lives at home. Seven grandchildren also survive.
