Rose Bolty
Services for Rose Mable Bolty, 88, Estherville, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Estherville, with Pastor Paul Wiegman officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Estherville. She died Sunday, March 30, 1986, at Rosewood Manor Nursing Home, Estherville.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville.

She was born April 7, 1897 to John Martin [Vestrem] and Rena Marie Knutson in Pocahontas and received her education in Estherville. In 1914 she was united in marriage to Clyde L. Bolty in Estherville. She moved to Estherville at an early age with her parents. Before her marriage she was employed at the Vindicator-Republican Newspaper in Estherville. Her husband was employed by the railroad and died in 1946. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and ALCW.

Survivors include two sons, Eugene and Glen Bolty, both of Estherville; two daughters, Mrs. Orville (Marilyn) Paulson, Estherville, Mrs. Floyd (Joan) Eide, Tacoma, Wash.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one sister, Gladys Price, Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter Ruth Garling; five sisters and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 31, 1986)
