Estherville – Services for Florine Irene Anderson, 93, will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Estherville with Dr. N. Gayle Fischer officiating. Interment will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery. She died Sunday, March 1, at the Good Samaritan Center in Estherville.

Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

She was born February 11, 1899 in Luverne, Minn. the daughter of Leon and Christine (Peterson) Sather, and attended Goldfield school where she was graduated in 1917. She also attended Cedar Rapids Business College. She married Carl E. Wells July 9, 1919 in Jackson, Minn. After Wells' death September 15, 1955, she married Oley Anderson on June 27, 1957 in Estherville.

She moved to Estherville on January 7, 1919, and was employed by the Rock Island Railroad as a stenographer-clerk until her retirement on February 13, 1965. She has been a resident at the Good Samaritan Center since April 3, 1985. Mr. Anderson died April 11, 1970. She was a member of the First Christian Church and VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include one brother-in-law Herbert Schwidder of Estherville, one sister-in-law Mildred Sather of Estherville and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, husbands, one sister (Geneva), two brothers, (Lyle and Clifton.) Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 2, 1992)
