Bernette Cecelia Sabo, the daughter of Mr& Mrs. John Sabo was born May 6, 1900 in Estherville, Iowa and departed this life at Holy Family Hospital in Estherville, Iowa on Tuesday, December 23, 1975 at the age of 75 years, 6 moths, and 17 days.

She received her education in the Estherville school, graduating from the Estherville High School.

On October 6, 1917 she was united in marriage to Nelson Miles Wheatley in Estherville. she spent her entire life in Emmet county and the couple farmed northwest of Estherville.

Mrs. Wheatley is survived by her husband, Nelson; one son, Robert of Estherville; lone daughter, Mrs. Vernice Barnett of Estherville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Edna Nintz of Estherville; She has been preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lawrence Sabo.
