Estherville – Services for Mrs. Dorothy Strohman, 54, Estherville, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wallingford Lutheran Church with Pastor Wesley Brodin officiating. Burial will be in High Lake Cemetery.

Friends may call at Fuhrman Funeral Home here until noon Thursday.

Mrs. Strohman succumbed Sunday [December 5, 1976] at Holy Family Hospital.

She was born May 14, 1922 at Dunnell, Minn., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Jensen. She received her education in rural schools near Dunnell and graduated from Jackson, Minn., High School.

Mrs. Strohman married Earl Iverson Nov. 26, 1941, and, following Mrs. [Mr.] Iverson’s death in 1945, married Clarence Strohman on Jan. 17, 1948. He died in 1969.

She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church, Jackson. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 8, 1976)

Funeral Services for Dorothy Strohman
Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Strohman, 54, were held Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. from the Wallingford Lutheran Church. Pastor Wesley Brodin officiated. Mrs. Strohman died Dec. 5

Burial was in High Lake Cemetery With Fuhrman Funeral Home of Estherville in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy Jensen Strohman was born May 14, 1922 to Mr. and Mrs. James Jensen at Dunnell, Minn. She received her education in rural schools and graduated from Jackson, Minn., high school.

Mrs. Strohman married Earl Iverson Nov. 26, 1941. Following his death in 1945 she was married to Clarence Strohman on Jan. 17, 1948. He preceded her in death in 1969.

She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church of Jackson, Minn.

Surviving are five children: sons: Edward Strohman of Minneapolis, Minn., Duane Iverson of Warner Robbins, Ga., and Lloyd Iverson of Tacoma, Wash.; two daughters: Mrs. Terry (Connie) Osher of Wallingford and Mrs. Michael (Leanna) Schipull of Emmetsburg; and seven grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ben (Amelia) Dammann of Jackson, Minn., and Mrs. Orville (Agnes) Wendelstorf of Jackson, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, her parents and one son.

Casket bearers were Maurice Anderson, Gerald Behrends, Lester Larson, Delbert Mikelson, Eugene Schacherer and Richard Umscheid. (Emmetsburg Reporter, Emmetsburg, IA, December 21, 1976)
